This is a Rough Collie workout regimen:

A Rough Collie’s Routine for Daily Exercise

1- Morning stroll30 to 45 minutes

Take a little stroll across the neighborhood or a neighboring park to start your day. This keeps your rough-coated dog intellectually engaged and helps them burn off energy.

2- Play and Fetch: 20 to 30 minutes

Play fetch with your Collie or play with toys that test his or her brains. Games that include chasing and retrieving are great since Rough Collies enjoy running around.

3-  Quickness Exercise: 15 to 20 minutes

Create a basic quickness course in your patch: otherwise, go to a dog park close by. Learn how to interweave between poles, hurdle over hurdles, and go through tunnels with your Collie. They continue cognitively and are actually occupied as a result.

4-  Evening leisurely walk: 20 to 30 minutes
Explanation: Prior to going to bed, your Collie can decompress with a relaxed walk in the evening. While on the walk, it’s also a good idea to repeat training instructions.

5- Interactive Playtime: 15 to 20 minutes in length

Play more low-key games, including tug-of-war or interactive puzzle toys. Your Collie can now apply its problem-solving abilities.

Weekend Adventure: One to two hours in length

Description: Visit a dog-friendly beach, hike with your Rough Collie, or discover new paths on the weekends. Rough Collies will benefit from the additional exercise and love exploring new places.

The Rough Collie’s love for physical activity stems from their history as diligent herding dogs on vast farmlands. However, their energy needs to be balanced with proper health care, including a diet that supports their active lifestyle. Regular grooming is also essential, as exercise often leads to muddy paws or a tangled coat, making grooming sessions a necessary part of their routine. Together, these aspects ensure your Rough Collie lives a happy, well-rounded life.
